Hilo Health · private pilot

Your health has one thread.

Hilo Health brings your goals, meals, sleep, activity, digestion and training into a conversation that remembers what you are trying to change.

General guidance, not diagnosis or a substitute for medical care.

Goals first. Tracking comes after.

Recording the past matters only when it improves the next decision. Hilo keeps a living protocol and reviews it with you.

  1. Day 1

Agree on what you want to change

You define a goal, a starting point, your boundaries and a first routine that is simple enough to follow.

  2. Day 15

    Separate signal from noise

Hilo compares the plan with what happened, spots friction and suggests one concrete adjustment for you to approve.

  3. Day 60

    Review the trend

You review progress, adherence and context. The next protocol starts from personal evidence instead of starting over.

Two ways to tell Hilo what happened.

Automatic metrics add continuity. What you report adds the context a sensor cannot see.

Automatic records

What can arrive on its own

You connect each source only when it is useful to you.

  • Weight and body composition from a compatible scale
  • Sleep, activity, recovery and workouts
  • Measurements imported from authorized sources

Your records

What only you can report

A photo, voice note or sentence is enough to add context.

  • What you ate and the approximate amount
  • Energy, hunger, stress, pain or symptoms
  • Digestion and bowel movements
  • Travel, celebrations and changes in routine

Example: a meal

A photo does not become a magic number.

Hilo proposes visible ingredients and plausible quantities, checks nutrition sources and calculates a range. It then asks one question only when the answer would materially change the result.

I ate this. How does it fit into today?

Provisional estimate

780–930 kcal

Estimated protein: 48–58 g

Oil is the biggest uncertainty. Was it roughly one tablespoon or two?

Calculated with USDA FoodData Central and Open Food FactsWaiting for your confirmation

Illustrative values. The real estimate depends on the photo and what you confirm.

Connect a source when you need it.

Health sources are native tools in the Health profile. They do not appear in a standard Hilo and remain off until you ask for them.

Final availability depends on each provider's configuration and authorization.

Your record has one clear home.

Hilo separates the structured record from the conversation and the provider that reasons over it, so you can tell where each part lives.

Your VPS

Goals, protocols, observations and reviews are stored in a SQLite ledger inside your own instance.

Your channel

The channel you choose may retain messages and files while transporting the conversation to your Hilo.

Your AI provider

To answer, Hilo sends the configured provider the context needed for the request you made.

What happens when you connect Google Health

Hilo requests the categories you authorize to import measurements into your local ledger and use them in answers you request. The connection starts only when you ask for it, and you can revoke it.

Limits stated plainly

  • Hilo Health does not diagnose conditions or replace healthcare professionals.
  • Meal estimates show uncertainty and wait for your confirmation before they are saved.
  • Material protocol changes are proposed to you; the decision remains yours.

Less tracking for its own sake. Better decisions with context.
